Reflecting on Behaviour (Men)

Supporting men to reflect, take responsibility, and change harmful behaviours through culturally grounded, healing-informed practice.

Our Reflecting on Behaviour (Men) workshops are designed to guide men through a process of deep reflection, accountability, and personal growth. Grounded in cultural knowledge and trauma-informed approaches, these workshops create space for men to explore the drivers of their behaviour of power and control over their intimate partners and/or family members — such as unresolved trauma, substance use, mental health challenges, and societal expectations around masculinity.

These programs do not excuse violence—they foster honest conversations about responsibility, the impacts of harmful behaviour, and the pathway toward meaningful change.  Using a strengths-based lens, the workshops challenge dominant ideas of control and power, while offering tools to build healthier relationships—with self, family, and community.

Ideal for service providers, community organisations, and justice sector professionals working with men who use violence, each workshop includes strategies to engage men in accountable reflection; and, full workshop packages including facilitator guides, case studies, slides, and handouts
